While still studying at AAU, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome became involved in ministry. The Believers' LoveWorld Fellowship (now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated) was at the time known as Youths For Christ.

YFC grew quickly and was the largest campus-based fellowship. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the location of the church's headquarters. Believer's LoveWorld is a global ministry that has millions upon millions of associates around the world has been renamed Believers LoveWorld.
